2024 Awards Ceremony Committee Invitation
Hello, fellow book lovers and supporters of Children’s Literature Council of Southern California!
I'm Helen Fairman, the CLCSC Awards Ceremony Chair, and I would like to invite you to join our committee for the 2024 CLCSC Awards Ceremony, to be held on the morning of Saturday, November 2, 2024 at Luminarias Restaurant in Monterey Park.

The Annual Awards Ceremony is a prestigious event that celebrates quality youth literature that empowers & informs the community at large. We are currently seeking out individuals interested in joining the 2024 CLCSC Awards Ceremony Committee.
As a committee member, you will have the opportunity to contribute your ideas, network with like-minded individuals, seek out silent auction items, and play a vital role in the success of the 2024 CLCSC Awards Ceremony. Your involvement will not only make a difference in the lives of aspiring readers but also showcase your commitment to promoting literacy among young readers in our Southern California community.

TENTATIVE SCHEDULE
WED 7/17 - Committee Intros/Goal Setting (Virtual, 40 minutes)
WED 8/14 - Committee Check In/Task Status (Virtual, 40 minutes)
WED 9/18 - Registration Push/Finalize Silent Auction (Virtual, 40 minutes)
SAT 10/19 - Silent Auction Basket Assembly (In-Person, Pasadena)
FRI 11/1 - Final Check In/Centerpiece Assembly (In-Person, Pasadena)
